| Sarah Nichols | ||
|
Sarah Nichols is specializing in both Political Economy of the Environment and Water Resources Management at the Bren School. Originally from the small city of Bath, Maine she recieved her undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire with a B.S. in Environmental and Resource Economics and a minor in Studio Art. For the three years in between undergradate and graduate school, she lived in beautiful South Lake Tahoe, California and worked as a bartender at a ski resort in the winter and golf course in the summer. This seasonal lifestyle afforded her the luxury of international travel during the off-season, where she was able to explore lifes possibilities, study both language and art and prepare for the return to academia. Her hobbies include hiking, camping, tennis, running, painting/drawing, reading and spending time with her friends and family. Sarah will be living in Boston, Massachusetts for the summer, and plans to return to New England after graduation. | |

| Isaac Pearlman | ||
|
Isaac Pearlman is pursuing a specialization in coastal and marine resource management at the Bren School. After growing up in Sebastopol, California near acres of vineyards, he headed south to earn a B.S. in Environmental Systems and a B.A. in Literature/Writing at UC San Diego. Afterwards, he continued even further south where he served two years in Peru with the Peace Corps as a Community Environmental Management Volunteer. This summer he will be interning with Oceana researching ocean-based renewable energy. When he's not pondering the earth's problems, Isaac can be found backpacking, snorkeling, running, or growing vegetables in his garden. | |

| Gabriel Sampson | ||
|
Gabriel Sampson is a MESM student pursuing training in environmental economics and policy at the Bren School. He received a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Chico State University in May 2007. Prior professional experience includes staff environmental scientist at Shaw Environmental and Infrastructure and fire ecology intern with the U.S. Forest Service. This summer he will be working in the EPA Office of Superfund Remediation as a NNEMS Fellow. Outside of school, his interests include sports, film, camping, and hunting. | |

| Jasmine Showers | ||
|
Jasmine is from Southwest Colorado where she grew up skiing, hiking, and backpacking. She received a BA in Studio Art from Eastern Washington University. After traveling and spending two years in Jackson, Wyoming she decided to attend graduate school. She is specializing in Water Resources Management at Bren and hopes to work on water quality and quantity projects in the future. | |

| Randy Turner | ||
|
|
With degrees in Biology (marine) and Zoology from Humboldt State University, Randy went on to serve in the AmeriCorps Watershed Stewards Program and work for the California Department of Fish and Game and the US Fish and Wildlife Service in Arcata, CA monitoring water quality on the Klamath River. Randy was elected to serve on the Humboldt Bay Municipal Water District board of directors and was appointed to the board of the Redwood Coast Energy Authority. He is spending his summer and beyond at the Goleta Water District, where he will be a Water Conservation Intern, helping customers to use water wisely. In his spare time, Randy enjoys kayaking and spending time with his wife and dogs. | |
