Project Team

We are an interdisciplinary team of five Master's students at the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management at UC Santa Barbara. We are advised by Gary Libecap, the Donald Bren Distinguished Professor of Corporate Environmental Management at the Bren School of Environmental Science & Management and Professor of Economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Zoë Carlson

Zoë Carlson has a Bachelor of Science in Earth Systems science and Policy from California State University Monterey Bay. She has worked with agricultural growers and landowners on water conservation and fish passage projects in the Pajaro watershed.

Daniel Crocker holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Conservation from the University of New Hampshire. Prior to coming to California he served in the Peace Corps in Paraguay and taught environmental education in Massachusetts. He is currently studying Water Resource Management at the Bren School.

Alex Speers

Alexandra (Alex) Speers has a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies/Natural Resource Management from the University of Colorado Boulder. She is studying Corporate Environmental Management with an emphasis in eco-entrepreneurship at the Bren School.

Sara Solis

Sara Solis has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Science from Claremont McKenna College.  She has nearly three years of experience in groundwater remediation and environmental consulting. Sara is studying Conservation Planning at the Bren School.

Matt Young

Matt Young holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Geography from UC Santa Barbara. He has nearly six years of experience in soil and groundwater remediation and environmental consulting. Matt is studying Water Resources Management at the Bren School.
