The Sino-American Working Group is a multi-year,high-impact,
international working group of policy-makers, scientists, academics,
business leaders and civil society representatives designed play an
active role in shaping the climate and energy policies of China and
the United States - the world's two largest emitters of greenhouse
gasses - and to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

MEETING OUTLINE
The first formal meeting of the Working Group will take place in November
2008 in China, and will focus on building links between California
and a similarly situated Chinese province (or provinces) with the
goal of building a network of trust among key players, improving mutual
understanding of decision-making on climate and related policy-making
and identifying practical opportunities to enhance cooperation. (Read
